Concept

I chose the architect Louisa Hutton as my inspiration.
In doing so, I focused on the SauerbruchHutton practice,
which she founded with Matthias Sauerbruch in Berlin in
1989. Their designs often focus on ways to save energy
and avoid CO2 emissions. At the same time, they attach
great importance to naturally ventilating their buildings
via the façade. Inspired by this understanding of the
façade as a permeable envelope, I have pursued the
building forms that have emerged. My “House 10” was
generated by the interplay of different elements.
